About the film

A film about a man who records the static after the broadcast ends, convinced the noise carries messages meant only for him. Built from degraded video, 16mm reprises, and one long piece of silence.

Static taught me that texture is meaning. The same frame reads completely differently in 60hz noise than in clean 16mm, so the whole film became a conversation between signal and its absence.
